Brighton

This morning (at about 4am) I couldn't sleep so I began cleaning out one of my closets and I found my Brighton Camp Songbook. So, I opened up and flipped through each page playing my guitar and singing. I was in heaven. Actually, I was in my bathroom (because I thought that was the only place I could go where Paul wouldn't be able to hear me).

It brought back soo many memories. Brighton will forever and always be my favorite place in the entire universe!!

Amazon! I found my camp songbook last week and started to sing all the songs to my two girls. My 3 year old got annoyed, but I had fun. My heart will always lie w/The Moon Song, Sandman, and Angel Song. I sing them every night to my girls. Love ya! Tacoma

LOVED BRIGHTON CAMP!!! I always admired you for going back and being a counselor, girls camp, whether it was Brighton or not has always been a good memory for me. Especially the year we were all Syca's (spelling?) I found some old pics from that year not too long ago. You and your red wig with your garbage sack cape!!! HAHA LOVE IT!!! Happy belated birthday Chels!

Isn't it funny how singing a few camp songs can bring it all back? I brought my guitar camping with some friends last summer and I pulled out the ole' song book. When I was singing "a little less of me" I just started bawling my eyes out. I felt like a total retard, but it just hit me so hard. Life was good, simple, in perspective up in those mountains. I miss it. I too think that it's the greatest place on earth. I still sing the song you taught me that your friend wrote "it's all about you Jesus." I love it...
